Find Cat Cafes is a free, independent directory of every cat café we can verify across the United States. We built it because the existing "top 10 cat cafes in X" lists were incomplete, unstructured, and usually out of date.

How we source listings

We start from Google Maps business data in every US city with a cat café. Each listing is enriched by visiting the cafe's actual website and extracting structured data — the number of resident cats, whether they have cats available for adoption, entry fees, reservation policies, and food service. We use a language model for extraction, but the underlying data is always from a real, verifiable source.

Photography

Where possible, each café listing uses the cafe's own Open Graph photo — the image they chose to represent themselves to the web. For cafes without a usable site photo, we use a stock image from Pexels and mark it clearly. We never fabricate or AI-generate cat photos.

How cafés are ranked

Google rating and review count. That's it. We don't accept sponsored placements, we don't sell featured slots, and no café can pay to appear higher. If a ranked result surprises you, the reviews will explain it.

Disclaimer

Cafe details change — hours, pricing, cat counts, even whether a café is still open. Always check the café's website or call ahead before you visit. We're a research tool, not a booking system.
